Notes:
Select toys and equipment as you wish, but please ensure that all climbing frames, slides, trampolines etc have plenty of crash mats around them. Put the two safety gates up, one on the main hall door and one on the stairs.
Clearing Away:
Person 4:
Activity and clearing away We have a lot of basic craft materials in the cupboard. We will reimburse you for any costs incurred providing you have a receipt and don’t go mad. The activity normally finishes by 11.15 and it is your responsibility to clear away any mess, wipe tables and return equipment to the cupboard. You should also then stay to help clear away toys and equipment at the end of the session.
Persons 5 and 6:
Clearing up and washing up. Washing up when songs finish and return cups etc to cupboard, wipe kitchen surfaces and turn off the water heater and kettle at the mains. At 11.15, put away toys and equipment, sweep hall, and turn off all the lights, lock cupboards & main door. Please ensure you have a key to lock-up with or one of the committee are there. Large equipment in big cupboard must be packed neatly and as tightly as possible into the centre of the room so there is plenty of room for other hall users to get around it all. This includes the play kitchen and the playpen.
Hope everything is clear but if it is your first time either on opening up or clearing away it is a good idea to do it with someone who is familiar with the procedures. If you are not sure about anything please just ask. Camilla or anyone else on the committee will be happy to help.
